Really Awesome. Cant wait to come back when completely finished.
I went to the Apex tonight. I was quite impressed with the amount of activities that will soon be at this place. The laser tag was awesome, and the entire group of people I went with all enjoyed it (ranging in age from ten to fifty). I feel there were some things that could be improved. One, the place is very expensive! The arcade games are very high priced. The laser tag was eight dollars a person, so for three of us to play one round for twenty minutes was $24. We had to rent a locker to put our coats for another $4. The food was expensive at the restaurant area, but it was also very good and pretty good serving sizes. The bowling lanes were thirty-five dollars for one hour, with a $4.50 shoe rental person. We didn't end up going bowling because of an emergency evacuation at the place, but still rather quickly dropped over $100 for lunch, laser tag, and one kid playing the arcades. Second, we had to wait an hour and a half for a candlepin bowling lane. Third, there were no water fountains or vending machines. So when the kids were thirsty after laser tag, we would have had to go back to the restaurant area to order drinks (which seemed to be more of an annoyance than anything else.) Fourth, the only tables or benches to sit down at were in the restaurant area, so we basically had to stand against the arcade games waiting for the kids to finish laser tag. Fifth, one staff worker was so very rude. Most every worker was kind and genuinely seemed to want to help out in whatever way possible except this one worker. She was at the laser tag game and spoke rudely to the young man who was working in the laser tag arena in front of the customers. Then, she was working at the bowling lane counter, and was rude in so many ways. It's really sad that this one worker can really take away from a customer's positive experience at the place (especially when so many of the workers seemed to go out of their way to try to make the experience so positive!) I probably would not go back because of the expense. To do all the really cool activities that will be at this place will cost any family a small fortune.
This was their first week open so most of what will make this place awesome hasn't opened yet. The arcade was open but many of the games were malfunctioning and the prize room computer was down. So we either needed to spend all 900 points during that visit, or the card balance would wipe out the remainder. Despite my daughter's initial disappointment when I told her that we'd come back she but prizes when they worked out their issues, she is happy to still have her 900 points. This place is going to be really cool when they're firing on all cylinders, they just need to get up to speed which takes time. I have no doubt that this is going to be the place to be and be seen. I'll reevaluate this review when we do a follow up visit in the future.
Amazing entertainment option for corporate retreats and family outings. Staff are top notch and provide extraordinary customer service. I attended their soft opening and they will be opening to the public soon. You'll want to check this place out!
What a great addition to the area! I can't wait for the new trampoline park to open!
