In many jobs there are unexpected things that a contractor will find as they go along. They could have said "Oh you need to get a carpenter for that woodwork below the roof" or "You need to get a painter to paint the flashing we install." I wouldn't have been as happy but they could have done that. Instead they took care of everything as they went along leaving a great looking and complete job.
Work was done on time and very well. They went out of the their way to do a top quality job. They bought paint that matched the trim and used it to paint the drip edge before installation. They repaired wood rot that wasn't visible behind gutters and wasn't part of the roof job as bid as they went along. They adapted their plans to fit the requirements of fixing the roof of a balcony area as they proceeded on the job and the requirements changed.

I got several bids and they were the low priced bidder. Their price for the non-roof work that was clearly outside the original bid was very reasonable.
Overall they were very professional and very friendly throughout. A pleasure to work with.
