Very please with the progress of our 8th grade son who is returning for his third and final year this fall! Consistent environment has worked wonders.
I went to school at Hillside in 1966 and 1967. The Whitmores were the headmasters. Very nice and fair, conscientious and ethical people. Everything a kid could want, salamanders, soccer, forests, good food, some from a nearby farm, the milk was served in a metal pitcher and you could see the butter cream on it, scavenger hunts, I can still smell the paint from the arts and crafts building. Swimming pond, camping, movies in the dining area and quality teachers. Anybody remember Mrs. Crozier? She used to leave a piece of candy sitting on your desk for when you returned from recess. Every kid should of had a couple years there.
I graduated from here in 1969 and it was a great experience. The world was a lot different then and I'm happy the school has changed with the times!!!!
They completely stole my school's entire logo and all of my friends that transferred from this school said they had an awful experience!
This school has taught me a lot. There wasn't one time that either a teacher or a student let me down. I've been there for three years and still pursuing my goal of being a DJ and with a help of any teacher they will try there best. Any teacher could help you independently.
